September Newsletter
Greetings All!
Since I last sent an update in June there have been quite a few changes to the site:
First a major update to the post on Ib Helge, Bornholm – with a lot more photos of his work now added.
There have been a few updates to the links/resources page, but this will slow right down now as I have found most of the links referenced on the site and they appear in the articles as well as on this dedicated page. If you come across an error or a link no longer working on the site please let me know so I can edit or remove it. The reference books page is still to come.
Then there are several new recent posts:
2 New (paid subscriber) posts on the Michael Andersen Denmark, Negro Series by Marianne Starck – there is one more still to come of other pieces in the series (or what appear to be from the same series) – of figurines and busts.
Gustravsberg Vardag (paid subscribers) – was a new design to me, but from the 1950s and so beautifully and elegantly designed by Karin Björquist
10 Stunning Danish Stoneware Wall Plaques (Free Post) – Some of my favourites from this genre of ceramics
Lyngby Denmark – A comprehensive (Paid subscribers) post on the 10 part Danild Series from Lyngby Denmark

Nis Stougard Denmark (Paid subscribers). A post on this artist and ceramicist which I had written about on the previous incarnation of this site, but somehow got lost in the transfer to C20ceramics.
Edno Denmark (Free Post) on this mystery Danish Pottery I would love to know more about.
Max Thorsbro Pedersen (Free Post) on the charming work of this Southern Jutland pottery
Gerd Bogelund Royal Copenhagen (Paid Subscribers) on the beautiful work of this midcentury Danish potter.
All of these posts can be accessed either from the front page or from the sidebar on the right or by using the search box on the right about half way down
Thank you also to the new paid subscribers on the site in the past 3 months. Your subscriptions help me keep the site running. If you are interested in the Twentieth Century Ceramics and the topics posted on this site, then make sure you become a paid subscriber today if you aren’t already, so you have full access to ALL articles, and don’t miss out on updates.
Subscriptions are paid for monthly by the payment method you choose on WordPress when joining – and it is easily cancelled on your wordpress dashboard after 1 month if you only want to access the site for a short period. There is also a discounted yearly plan accessed from the bottom of the about/contact/subscribe page.
Any questions or feedback, please contact me on the CONTACT form on the about page.
