June Update

This is an update to things that have been happening here in the background to different posts/pages. I wont add the links to each entry but you can easily find them in the categories on the right hand side, or by typing the term in the search box on the right.

1. The resources pages has a number of new entries, and updated links. I will try to add at least 1 new one each month from now until I can find no more 🙂 Next month I hope to add a page for some recommend books on twentieth century ceramics.
2. The post on Upsala Ekeby “Kosmos” design has been updated with some more photos of variations.
3. The post on Gunter Praschak has been updated, with a link to the site that has a large number of his wall plaque designs.
4. A new article was published on Egursund Pottery Norway, 1970s Design
5. A new article was published on Arabia Finland “Telma” – such a beautiful design
6. The article on Birte Vedel Howard, Denmark was updated with some more information and photos – she is still going strong in her 90s!!
7. The article on Bangholm Pottery Denmark has been updated
8. The article on Jens Quistgaard “Cordial” design has been updated….with more information on the “Palett” variation – and something I hadn’t picked up on before – the clay used to make the Cordial series was black – to accentuate the look of the relief pattern.
9. The Latvian “Mystery” Potter from Adelaide has been identified, thanks to his Granddaughter who contacted me with information, and some lovely photos of him with his work. It is so good to finally put a name to this pottery.
10. The main post on Fratelli Fanciullacci has been updated.

Just a note to paid subscribers as well – Safari doesn’t work well with access to and reading WordPress subscriber sites- best to use a different browser, or clear your cache if having problems. (this is different to clearing your history). Also logging out of wordpresss, then back in will often fix things if you are having access issues with any wordpress sites…not just this one.
