C20Ceramics is now also on Flickr
After an absence from Flickr of over 10+ years I have re-discovered its value as both a repository of information, an archival resource, and a great place to run group groups or forums.
I have thousands of images of 20th Century ceramics….. far too many to put on this website and I am finding that Flickr is a great place to not only store and organise them, but enable people to see them rather than have them hidden away on a dusty old hard drive or in the cloud.
Last month I started adding my photo archives to my Flickr page, all in folders based on topic/genre/maker etc depending on how many I have in each category. I will be adding more continually.

Today I also completed setting up the framework for a Group on 20th Century Ceramics which anyone is welcome to join to share photos of their collections, finds, or ask questions. Flickr is a free service up to 1,000 images. The great thing I am also finding about it also is there are no interruptions from things you are either not interested in or don’t want to look at….and everything stays in date order. Refreshingly unlike on other “social media” there aren’t ads popping up every second for things you don’t really want to look at or are simply not interested in.
